Pinata is rolling out a new and improved version of sponsored Farcaster auth (details later today). With that, we’ll have limits on the total number of signers a developer can create on each of our plans. Each signer costs us 10 warps so we want to make sure to balance convenience and cost effectiveness.

Pinning to ipfs using pinata API works perfectly locally, but in production the API call fails with bad request. I was thinking it might have to do with access tokens, host origins etc but I am not using my gateway. Just pinning to my account what am i missing?

Hi there! I'm currently co-working on a project that acts as a Farcaster client to host a community on-chain. Here's one part of the equation I'm trying to solve for: “Get” a specific Farcaster channel into our personalized client --> New Users of our client are then able to interact with this Farcaster channel.

Quick follow up on this. We worked with the developer of this frame. They have made it clear what the frame does and also made it clear that this is a third-party app, not a Pinata app. The frame will be working again but will be much more clear now.

This is not Ignas’s frame, he just reported it. But if you connect a signer to this frame it will post on your behalf. Always make sure you trust the link you’re connecting with. Sponsored signers will show the sponsor’s name and logo instead of the app developer. Working with WC team to mitigate that.

Yesterday we announced Pinata's new Farcaster Auth. If you're a developer and don't want end users to pay warps to connect to your app, you can do that with our Sponsored Flow. It's 12 lines of code or less.
